Job Description:

VariSoft Technologies is seeking PeopleSoft Technical Consultants for clients nationwide. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementation, maintenance, support and upgrade of Peoplesoft version 8.x HCM, FMS, SCM or CRM applications.

Responsibilities:

    Meet with business users in order to determine requirements; design, document and develop         solutions that meet those requirements.
    Review functional specifications and create technical specifications for software changes and         enhancements.
    Use PeopleSoft Tools and related technologies (SQR, SQL, Crystal Reports, XML, Application Engine,         File.
    Layouts, and Component Interfaces etc.) in order to satisfy business requirements.
    Perform programming and testing of customized online or batch functionality.
    Assist with data conversion, developing interfaces with other applications, and performance tuning.
    Configure product to meet business requirements and design specifications.
    Provide high quality and timely production support and issue resolution for PeopleSoft applications        (delivered and custom)
    Applying Peoplesoft delivered fixes, bundles and maintenance packs to existing systems.
    Performs other duties as assigned by Project Manager.
    Effectively track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns via status reports and        communication to management.
    Concurrently manage multiple tasks and function in an environment with changing priorities.
    Willingness and ability to learn new skills and technologies.

Required Skills/Experience:

    5+ years of development experience in People Tools version 8.X using Application Designer, Workflow,        SQR,  Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Packages, Integration Broker, File Layouts,        Component Interface and XML.
    Strong integration skills using PeopleSoft EIPs (Enterprise Integration Points).
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
    Functional knowledge of HCM, FMS, SCM or CRM applications.
    Work independently with minimal supervision.
    Strong SQL skills.
    Experience with IIS, WebLogic, HTML. Java/Active X, JSP, ASP preferred.
    Must have strong analytical skills for debugging and problem solving.
    Willingness to travel up to 100%

    Meet with business users in order to determine requirements; design, document and develop        solutions that meet those requirements.

    Knowledge of EAI and Data Warehousing tools, preferably SAP XI and SAP BW.
    Strong experience architecting business solutions using SAP MDM and other SAP NetWeaver products.
    Work independently with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for successfully implementing and integrating one or more CRM applications like PeopleSoft, SAP and salesforce.com with other systems. The candidate needs to be an expert in respective application functionality, technology, implementation, and software development methodology.

Responsibilities:

    Identifying client requirements and conducting detailed analysis of client data.
    Creating integration and development plans.
    Writing proposals for implementation and integration projects.
    Effective, expedient completion of client projects
    Working aggressively and effectively with clients and other team members.

Required Skills/Experience:

    6+ years of experience managing external client projects in positions of increasing responsibility in the        delivery of business consulting, systems development, and systems.
    Knowledge of enterprise systems, CRM, SFA, and ERP.
    Experience with Enterprise Integration tools.
    Extensive experience with Extract, transformation and load tools. .
    Demonstrated deployments of enterprise software systems using industry standard environments        including XML, HTTP/HTTPS, Java, C++, and ASP.
    A thorough understanding of XML, SQL, and enterprise application integration.
    PeopleSoft CRM Skills: PeopleSoft integration experience using Integration broker and Application        messaging along with CRM application knowledge.
    SAP CRM Skills: Experience in ABAP development, integration and configuration of SAP CRM module.        Development in FRICE, ALE, BAPI, EBP, HR, SAP NetWeaver, SAP XI.
    Willingness to travel nationally
    Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies.
    Excellent presentation and communication skills.
    Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts,         business models and technologies.
